PetBuyLab is a reader-supported publication. The research we publish and the tools we build are free to use, and affiliate commissions are how we keep them that way.
How affiliate links work
Some of the links on our site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to buy a product, the retailer may pay us a commission — at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or not.

Why this never affects our recommendations
Commercial opportunity is kept entirely separate from product-selection judgement. A brand can never pay for a higher ranking. If a better-fitting product earns us nothing, it still wins — and we say so.
- We never accept payment in exchange for a ranking or a favourable review.
- We never fabricate testing, reviews, credentials or outcomes.
- Hands-on testing is stated only when it genuinely happened, with its scope documented.
- Material errors receive a clear, dated correction.
