Editorial Policy
This policy describes how PetBuyLab produces its guides and tools, and the standards every piece of content is expected to meet.
Independence
Editorial judgement is kept separate from commercial relationships. Brands cannot pay for a higher ranking or a recommendation, and any affiliate earnings never determine a verdict.
Evidence over marketing
Guides are built from manufacturer specifications, instruction manuals, safety information, credible expert guidance and dated market comparisons. Claims that affect fit, safety or maintenance are traceable to a source.
Honest labelling of testing
Hands-on testing is claimed only when it genuinely happened, and its scope is documented. Otherwise the work is described clearly as research, comparison or analysis.
No fabricated expertise
PetBuyLab does not invent people, credentials, qualifications, laboratory testing, customer reviews, certifications or partnerships. Content reflects documented research, not manufactured authority.
Not veterinary advice
PetBuyLab publishes general product-research and educational information. It does not replace a veterinarian. Health-related decisions should be guided by a qualified professional.
Corrections stay visible
When a material error is identified, it is corrected and a clear note explains what changed. See the Corrections Policy for details.
